The gamble Trump is taking

Trump is putting all of his eggs in one basket when he claimed that there was “no longer a Nuclear Threat from North Korea.”

This even though there was actually no detailed agreement on when North Korea’s nuclear bombs will be disposed of, inspections and/or verifications, monitoring, etc.

It is estimated that North Korea has between a dozen and 60 nuclear bombs.

North Korea has previously reneged on denuclearization deals with former US Presidents. So why would this be any different.

North Korea has previously created huge facilities under mountains to shield the US and others from detections. While North Korea has blown up the front of at least two of these facilities, this doesn’t stop them from reopening them or maybe even a hidden “back door”.

But for Trump to say that North Korea is not a threat could come back to haunt him and his presidency if the agreement falls through during the more detailed negotiations or if it is discovered that North Korea is hiding nuclear bombs.

Part of the deal [that we know of] calls for the stop of military war games with South Korea and the eventual removal of US forces from South Korea. The official North Korean TV channel even stated that all sanctions would be lifted [nothing mentioned by Trump or anyone in his administration on this but could be logical to do].

If North Korea does fault on the deal, and [heaven forbid] North Korea uses a bomb [or threatens to] or even invades South Korea, Trump would probably go down as the worse President in the US ever.

And maybe all this so that Trump can receive a Nobel peace Prize – something President Obama received. [Of course so those who decides who gets the prize look at the person overall such as Trump with Iran?]
