Experience a black screen in Windows 10 v1703?

If you are experience a black screen after every reboot for anywhere from 5 minutes to 10 minutes after installing an application from the Windows Store and you are using a computer that came with Windows 10 v1703 [i.e. a computer made by Dell, HP, Acer, ASUS, etc.], there is an update to correct this here.

It seems that there are some registry keys in Windows 10 v1703 “…that conflict with the app readiness service”.

    If you upgraded to Windows 10 v1703 or built your own computer and installed a fresh new copy of Windows 10 v1703, this does not apply to you.

    Tried Chrome – 404 Error and Edge won’t load page so I can post comment. Must be an Australian thing? Never had a problem with your blog ever.

    Must be an Australian thing! Just tried Edge with that post and was accepted [true, I run the blog]. Used Chrome on my cell. No issue there either…
