It seems that even after 10 months after its release Samsung is still having issues getting appropriate working drivers if you try to upgrade to Windows 10. In particularly reports say that some Broadcom WiFi and Bluetooth drivers have issues.
If you have a Samsung computer, you can check here to see if your computer is upgradable and whether or not there are any issues.
Many of the applications that came with Samsung computers need to be removed because they will not work correctly in Windows 10.
Samsung has produced a guide [PDF] on upgrading to Windows 10 for their computers.
“Honestly speaking, we don’t suggest installation of Windows 10 to any Samsung laptop or PC and we are still coordinating with Microsoft regarding to this matter,” Samsung’s UK support said.
“The Drivers that we have on our website are not yet compatible to the latest version of Windows. What we usually recommend is to keep the current Windows version and we’ll update you once the Windows 10 have no more issues on any Samsung laptops and computers or even monitors.”
Personally, if a computer should be upgradable [particularly if bought in the past few years] then Samsung should support it. If the drivers won’t be available until after the July 29th deadline, then Samsung should mail out media for a free upgrade.
